A marketplace that works for more people.
Shopingly is committed to making our website usable and welcoming for everyone. Our accessibility target is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level.
Our approach
Accessibility is part of how we design, build and review Shopingly. We test our work against WCAG 2.2 AA as a target, but we have not yet had an external accessibility audit and do not claim certified conformance.
Semantic HTML
We use meaningful headings, landmarks and labels so pages have a clear, logical structure.
Keyboard navigation
Core journeys are designed to work with a keyboard, with visible focus states to show where you are.
Clear, readable content
We check colour contrast and provide useful alternative text for meaningful images.
Mobile-first design
We design for small screens first, with responsive layouts and controls that are practical to use on touch devices.
Known limitations
Shopingly is an evolving pre-launch website, so some content and features may not yet meet our target. We also use third-party services, including Cloudflare Turnstile, which may have their own accessibility characteristics. We will keep reviewing these areas as the marketplace develops.
Tell us what needs improving
If you find a barrier or need information in a different format, please contact us. Tell us which page or feature you were using and what happened, and we’ll do our best to help.
